On July 30, 1998 an orthodox community in honour of Saint Evfrasinia of Polotsk was registered with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus.

On August 9, 2004 a building for a church was bought with the blessing of Protopriest Nicolai Rozov.

On March 1, 2005 Priest Gennadiy Pashkevich was appointed to lead the congregation. The church was built in three years due to the charitable donations of the parishioners.

On August 29, 2010 the Great Consecration of the church was performed by Episcope Veniamin of Borisov.

With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Filaret all the people were rewarded for their labour glorifying Lord.
